I am from the Nashville, TN area and my wife (Amy) is from the Atlanta, GA area. We met in Louisville, KY where we were both attending the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. We've been happily married since April, 2010. In September of 2011 we had our adorable son Joshua. We enjoy spending time together as a family and being outdoors.
Testimony & Calling
Although I grew up going to Church, I wasn't truly born again until my freshman year of college. Someone invited me to a Bible study where I began to understand the call of Jesus Christ to follow Him and the wonderful promises of the gospel. I have a burden to see parents accept God's call to become the primary disciple makers of their children and to partner with them in teaching their children the good news of Jesus.

I met my wife, Janna, at the Baptist Collegiate Ministries while pursuing my accounting degree at the University of Florida. We have a beautiful daughter named Arilyn who was born on June 21, 2011 and a son named Ethan who was born on January 22, 2013. Janna and I are both from the panhandle, but we are both Gator fans.
Testimony & Calling
In the summer of 2001 I went on a youth retreat to Pensacola, Florida. It was at that retreat that God moved me to stop living for myself and to live wholly for Him. In the summer of 2009 I went on a mission trip to the Amazon in Brazil and God moved me to quit my pursuit in the accounting industry to work full-time in ministry.
My life verse is John 3:30 which says, "Jesus must become greater, I must become less."

Testimony
As a 7 year old at the First Baptist Church of DeLand. Was sitting on the back row to the left of the pulpit when I felt the call to receive Christ.
